INFORMATİON ABOUT KEMER
The people of the old village have built stone walls, 23km in length, to protect themselves. Because of this wall they called the villagers Kemer. There are no roads until the 1960s. For this reason, transportation is made from the sea. It has developed after 1980 and has become one of the most important tourism centers of Turkey.
Phaselis Ancient City, Çıralı Yanartaş, Seljuk Hunting Pavilion and Idyros Ancient City are among the historic buildings without our territory. Starting from Beldibi region, all the coast to Tekirova is a completely natural beach.
The area from Antalya to Çavuş (Adrasan) Beldesi is "Olympus Bey Mountains Coastal National Park". In this region there are day picnic places and recreation facilities like Topçam, Çaltıcak, Beldibi, Göynük, Kındil Fountain, Alacasu, Paselis, Olympos. There are also water sports and diving opportunities.
